The Cameleon Commerce Server was built on four major modules: Electronic Services Module, Connectivity Module, Application Module and e-Trade Services Module. This architecture model allows Cameleon Commerce Server to interact and exchange information with any standard based remote system.

The Electronic Services Module
The Electronic Services Module, is a package designed to talk to remote e-services providers, like Verisign for payments gateway, Oanda for currency exchange, UPS for shipment Gateway and supplier prices list and product availability like Techdata for computer parts.
The Connectivity module
The Connectivity module is an independent communication component. This component handles all communication functionalities using different protocols as: HTTP, HTTPS, XMLHTTP, FTP, WSDL, SOAP and SMTP. Beside this role, the connectivity module is also responsible to access different databases as: MS SQL, MySQL and Oracle.
The Application module
The Application module was designed and developed in order to offer the highest possibilities of customization. This module offers a wide variety of services and functionalities. This module, contain different specialized components responsible to manage different aspects of your online B2B Store. See SOA diagram for more details.
The e-Trade Services Module
